Upcoming Youth Group Activities:
We invite all youth and their friends to join in the “fun” and “service” events.
Deanna is back leading Sunday School regularly for the summer from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Please join us upstairs in the cozy youth room.
Volleyball - Official play starts June 10. On May 30, we will have a meeting during Sunday School and a practice following the 10:45 church service from noon to 1:30 pm. We need to determine if we have a full team and so if you wish to play, please be there or contact Deanna with your intent to play. And as always, you may bring friends. The more the merrier! The season runs from June 10 to the final tournament day on Saturday, July 31. Final schedule of play and practices are not worked out yet. That will depend on your feedback as well.
Graduation - On June 6, we will be honoring our high school graduates. Letters have gone out to seniors. Please RSVP to Deanna if you will be at church that Sunday. There will be a cake following the 10:45 service. There will be time for a fun activity that afternoon so let Deanna know what you might most enjoy. If you are graduating from High School this year and did not receive a letter, please let us know because we want to include all our seniors.
We will be having a Peace Camp Kick-Off Party for middle and high schoolers on Saturday, June 19, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. It will also be an orientation for the camp, but mostly FUN. Let Deanna hear from you what you think would make for an awesome party.
PEACE CAMP - Calling all middle and high schoolers to assist with Peace Camp, Sunday, June 20 to Thursday, June 24, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Your help and love in making it a great experience for the littler ones is greatly needed. It will be a lot of fun for you, too, and there are many great areas that you can work in, crafts, music, with preschoolers, etc.
