Worship Services at St. Andrew's

Our goal is to provide worship experiences that will speak to as wide a variety of people as we can, while still being true to the principles of Progressive Christianity. We want our services to be a welcoming and safe place for everyone. Our theology of worship is summed up in our congregational introit, which we invite everyone to sing: "Every way of compassion, every road of peace, every live-giving path is welcome here. We are different and the same, naming Holy many names."

Our services blend traditional and contemporary elements, as we attempt to have everyone discover at least one thing that connects them to the Holy or the Divine. In our language we make use of many descriptions of God, without assigning gender. We believe that the Sacred is beyond our male and female labels, so we want the words we use to reflect that. Our music also reflects these important values, whether it be the hymns we sing or the special performances of our choir or others.

We invite you to visit us! Our services on Sunday begin at 8:30 and 10:45am. Below are a couple of examples of our Sunday worship bulletins. Enjoy browsing those, and if we look like a good fit, come join us!

It is important to us to use inclusive language in all our services. For a good summary of what this means, check out Inclusive Language: Questions and Answers
