Bringing AGAPE to Life

In this series from 2008, pastor Jim Rigby gave the background for the model we use at St. Andrew’s to ensure that we follow a balanced approach in pursuing our mission. In this model, we have broken our mission down into five areas of responsibility. Each of these areas of responsibility is overseen by a team that takes its name from a letter in agape, a word for the universal love fulfilled in Christ:

• Ambassadors on Nov. 9. Podcast and transcript available.
• Pastors on Nov. 16. Podcast and transcript available.
• Educators on Nov. 23. Podcast and transcript available.

These teams determine the activities and programs needed to carry out the mission of St. Andrew’s. Each sermon in “Bringing AGAPE to Life” gives the spiritual framework for the respective team’s area of responsibility in our mission.
